Contestants
and spectators, please
remember to pick up after yourself at a barrel race.
I am always amazed at how much trash is left in my yard after
a barrel race. When you
are at my arena, ( Cooper Arena ), you are at my residence.
I do not have employees that come in and clean up.
I do not have trash receptacles out due to the fact that the
Ravens are quick to find them and spread the trash.
Please look around your truck and trailer before you go and
pick up your trash. And
please dont throw it out your windows as you drive down the road.

pay cash when entering a
race. We can not do a
cash payoff if everyone writes a check.
Contestants
are required to wear boots
when competing. This is
required by our insurance. And
please contestants, keep
your horse under control at all times.
Lately there seems to be quite a few contestants
riding horses that are completely out of control both in the arena
and out. If
you can not control your horse during a competitive run then you
should not be running the horse!

Finals Qualifications : In order to qualify to run at the finals this year you must attend 10 races and sell 40 raffle tickets. If you enter 2 horses you will not be asked to sell an additional 20 raffle tickets. You will not be allowed to come to the finals and run just for the money anymore. You must make 10 races, period! If you run 2 horses at a race you will be given credit for attending 2 races. If you run more than 2 horses you will still only get credit for 2 horses. Remember, NO MORE DAY PERMITS. .. This year your barrel races attended will be posted in a fairly timely manner on the web site. I will be doing it as I work on the web site with new information. Attention!! Attention!! Members, There are changes in the PCBRA this year!! Concerning membership : There will no longer be day permits available. You must join the PCBRA in order to run at any PCBRA race. You may join the day of the race or send your completed membership form to Kim Wineland our Vice President. Please be sure to fill out the form completely. It's hard to send a newsletter to you if you don't complete your address. There will no cards or membership numbers this year.
